On 6th June 2019 Indian and Indonesian students organized and celebrated a festival of Islamic religion at National Formosa University called Eid-Ul-Fitr. The presence of International students from India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand and Taiwan made the event more astonishing.
Eid-Ul-Fitr is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, which is the Islamic holy month of fasting. So, Eid-UlFitr is also called as “Festival of Breaking the Fast”. Muslims end their fast on this religious Eid.
Wishing “Eid Mubarak” (meaning: May the blessings and Guidance of God Allah be with you and your Family) is the most auspicious greeting they use during this day.
The presence of NFU President and his talk witnessing the students made the event more precious for the international students gathering.
As a note on this Eid-Ul-Fitr, Indian and Indonesian student’s community at NFU celebrated the event with lots of fun and joy.
They organized several events which included knowledge about the particular day, dance, songs, games, etc., They served Indian food and Indonesian food to the gathering.
