Description:
1. In order to cultivate international affairs youth talent, equipping them with an international perspective and international affairs capabilities, Hualien County subsidizes 5 students from Hualien County each year to study language and culture abroad, enriching their international learning experience and enhancing their understanding of international affairs.
2. Eligibility requirements for this program are as follows:
(1) Students in the second year of senior high school through college/university who have held household registration in Hualien County for at least ten years as of March 31, 2026 (excluding students enrolled in in-service programs).
(2) Students must have achieved an average grade of 80 or above in the most recent semester.
(3) Students who have previously been admitted to and participated in this program (including the Germany study tour) or received a government scholarship for study abroad under the Education Hope Project should not apply again.
3. Application Deadline: From today until Monday, April 27, 2026 (postmark date will be honored); applications that do not arrive before the document review will be considered incomplete, and mail sent through postal agency outlets will not be accepted.
4. All other matters shall be handled in accordance with the program guidelines.
